Our Gymnasium offers its pupilss an extensive range of opportunities to involve themselves in the broader life and work of the school. We see it as important that pupils should further their own personal growth by : ​

giving service
We would hope that all our students could make as great a contribution to the school's extra-curricular work as they can. We seek to record this aspect of their total school career so that ultimately Records of Achievement and employers' and other references will present as full a picture of students' life and work at Queensmead as is possible.
SPORT
PE develops students’ competence and confidence to take part in a range of physical activities that become a central part of their lives, both in and out of school.
A high-quality PE curriculum enables all students to enjoy and succeed in many kinds of physical activity. They develop a wide range of skills and the ability to use tactics, strategies and compositional ideas to perform successfully.
Those with sporting interests and abilities have a wealth of opportunities to represent the school in a variety of team games that form part of the annual programme. Our Gymnasium meets with much success in a number of sports in other school competitions.
M U S I C
​Our Gymnasium has its own misical group "Gymnasium No. 1" which consists of four talented boys. They are popular not only with their friends and classmates. Their names are known out of our town. They take part in school and town concerts and festivals and go abroad to show their skills and talent. We are proud of our boys and the Head of the group. For these boys music is not only a hobby but a part of their life.
